I am a psychodynamic counsellor and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Until the summer of 2018 I was a director and co-founder of Catalyst Counselling CIC, a social enterprise providing counselling and therapy training in East Anglia.
I retired from my directorship at Catalyst in anticipation of a move from East Anglia to the south coast of England.
I have been a LawCare volunteer since 2008 and in 2015 wrote a book in collaboration with LawCare.
I am co-author of Central Law Training's Wellbeing for Lawyers online course which launched in March 2019.
Earlier in 2018 I was appointed to the Advisory Board of The Mental Health Institute of Legal Professions in Spain.
Before working as a therapist I practised law for over 30 years, was regularly recommended in the Legal 500 and also served as a Professional Deputy.
I have long experience of the demands of managing professional and business organisations.
I now work online at Restart.
